Buying critical illness insurance is like assessing a road; you want to know as much as possible about the route you’re taking before you start. You want to know what your options are, what’s covered, key features and any conditions that may apply to your critical illness insurance before you buy.
Critical Illness Survivor Plans put you in the driver’s seat by offering you two types of plans to choose from.
The Base Critical Illness Survivor Plan covers you for the most common critical illnesses:
- Heart Attack
- Stroke
- Cancer
- Kidney Failure
The Enhanced Critical Illness Plan costs slightly more per month, but covers an additional 11 conditions:
- Blindness
- Coronary Artery Surgery
- Major Organ Transplant
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Paralysis
- Alzheimer’s Disease
- Occupational HIV
- Parkinson’s Disease
- Burns
- Loss of Speech
- Deafness
While both plans cover different types of conditions, they do share some important features and conditions:
- Coverage can be purchased up to age 65 and maintained until age 75.
- You can purchase up to $100,000 in coverage in $25,000 increments.
- Applications can be processed and approved immediately upon answering and satisfying eight simple questions by calling
(905)-764-4959 or 1-800-461-4155.
- Your premium is guaranteed and only changes when you enter a new age category.
- Your Critical Illness Survivor Plan offers portability. It remains yours even if you are no longer part of your existing health or insurance plan. In other words, it always travels with you.
Most importantly, with a Critical Illness Survivor Plan, you are the beneficiary. Benefits are paid directly to you for you to use as you see fit. There are no restrictions because every person’s needs are different – and only you can determine how the money will help your family most.
