How to Enable JavaScript

JavaScript is a scripting language used to make web sites interactive. Disabling it can prevent some sites from functioning properly. Please select your Internet browser from the list below to view instructions on how to enable JavaScript.

Internet Explorer

  1. Click Tools from the menu bar at the top of the window and select Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. Make sure that the Internet zone is selected.
  4. If you have the option to Customize Your Internet Settings, please complete the following:
    1. Click Custom Level
    2. Scroll down the list until you see Active Scripting. Select Enable. Click OK.
  5. If you do not have the option to Customize your Internet Settings, select Default level, click OK and continue to the next step.
  6. Refresh the page.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click Tools from the menu bar at the top of the window and select Options.
  2. Click the Content tab.
  3. If it's not already selected, click the Enable JavaScript checkbox and click OK.
  4. Refresh the page.

Safari

  1. Click Safari (or Edit if you are using Safari for Windows) from the menu bar at the top of the window and select Preferences.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. If it's not already selected, click the Enable JavaScript checkbox and click OK.
  4. Refresh the page.

Opera

  1. Click Tools from the menu bar at the top of the window and select Preferences.
  2. On the Advanced tab, click Content.
  3. If it's not already selected, click the Enable JavaScript checkbox and click OK.
  4. Refresh the page.

Netscape

  1. Under the Edit menu at the top of the window select Preferences and then select Advanced.
  2. Click to select the Enabled JavaScript option.
  3. Refresh the page.
