Have questions? We’re here to answer them

Can I pay my bill or invoice online?

Customers can pay their Unifund Assurance Company insurance premiums via online banking.

Don't know your account number or payment amount? Find it online using our online self-service tool now! You'll need your policy number, email address and phone number on file to get started.

To start making payments using online banking, follow these three simple steps:

  1. Log into your banking institution's website
  2. Set up UNIFUND ASSURANCE COMPANY as a 'payee' using the account number given online, on your policy document invoice or monthly bill.
  3. Follow the instructions to fill in the mandatory fields and submit the payment.

Here are some important points to keep in mind:

  • Your account number can be found online through "View Payment Details". You'll need your policy number, email address and phone number on file for access.
  • The format for the account number is 16 digits. For example, an account number would appear as: 123ABCAB12CD3456.
  • Your account number can be found on your policy document invoice or monthly bill.
  • Do not include any spaces or additional characters in the account number.
  • If you have multiple policies, each policy will need to be set up as a separate account.
  • If you need further assistance, contact your banking institution's customer service team.
What's the difference between $1 million and $2 million liability?

The option to purchase $2 million in Third Party Liability Coverage is an excellent choice available to protect you and your family against the cost of damages you may be liable for. For instance, if you are covered for $1 million liability, and if there is a settlement against you for more than $1 million, your insurance will only cover $1 million of the settlement - you'll be responsible for any additional amount.

Who and what is covered under my home insurance policy?

A home insurance policy usually includes your property (building, outbuildings and contents) and liability covers for the insured, including:

  • You and your spouse
  • Any person under 21 in your care
  • Your relatives and your spouse's relatives
  • Dependents living away from home temporarily to attend school, college or university
